In the field of psychiatric and mental health nursing, our aim is to cultivate nurses who support the recovery of individuals with mental health conditions by providing care that enables them to continue living in their communities and by ensuring continuity of care between hospital and community settings. To achieve this, students study relevant theories, models, and concepts. They also learn about the structure and functions of the mind, as well as the human life cycle, to deepen their understanding of care recipients. Our research focuses on community-based support and home-visit nursing for people with mental illnesses, as well as forensic psychiatric nursing.
